PROMOTE SCHOOLS
JENKS HAS A LEGACY FOR EDUCATION EXCELLENCE. WE NEED TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR PROGRAMS, ENSURE PROPER FUNDING, AND EMPOWER OUR TEACHERS TO HAVE BETTER CONTROL OVER THEIR CLASSROOM.

PROSPEROUS ECONOMY
WE MUST CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT INCENTIVIZES BUSINESSES TO COME TO JENKS. AS A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL OF 20+ YEARS, I WILL WORK TO FOSTER ECONOMIC GROWTH AND HELP ATTRACT NEW JOBS TO JENKS.

VIBRANT NEIGHBORHOODS
TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY FLOURISH, WE MUST PRIORITIZE PUBLIC SAFETY AS A TOP PRIORITY. JENKS FAMILIES DESERVE CLEAN STREETS, ATTENTIVE COUNCILORS, AND MOST OF ALL, SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS.

MEET KEVIN SHORT

I am a proud resident of Jenks, where I currently serve as Sr. VP and Chief Lending Officer for Mabrey Bank. My wife, Caci, and I were married June 11, 1994. We have one daughter, Courtney, and one son, Ryan. Courtney graduated Jenks High School Class of 2020 as a fourth generation Trojan. Ryan is a Junior at Jenks High School and a member of the two-time defending State Champion Trojan Swim Team. I believe as residents of Jenks, we have an obligation to leave our community better than we found it. I've served on the Board of Directors for Jenks Public Schools Foundation since 2013, and recently served as their past President. I've never run for public office, but I hope to help move our city forward with better schools, a vibrant economy, and safe neighborhoods. I hope to earn your vote for Jenks City Council.

I'm not a politician – I’m a businessman & problem solver."
